After three very wet and snowy walks the weather gods finally shone on the kickstart hillwalkers as they enjoyed a dry and mild day on Saturday as they climbed the Sugarloaf.
On Saturday Feb 10th, over 800 Crokes club members descended on the Clayton Hotel for the Crokes Gala Ball. The night was a great success. Thanks to everyone who attended this hugely successful Kilmacud Crokes Gala Night.

After very wet expeditions up Maulin and Mullacor for their first two hikes the Kickstart Hillwalking group took on Djouce Mountain from Luggala side for their 3rd outing hoping for better weather.
We regret to inform members that Edel Uí Ghallchobhair’s beloved mother Isabel has died. Isabel was Mother of Edel, Grandmother of Oisín and Dara and Mother-in-law of Diarmuid who have all been long time members and supporters of the club. Edel's Mum lived to her 103rd year. What stories she must have been able to tell. May she rest in peace.
