John Shovlin is taking park in a charity event on Thursday 19th for the Irish Cancer Society.
He and a number of his work colleges will stock and run the Kimmage Store at 47 Sundrive Road for the day and hope to boost their profits for one day.

Ross O’Carroll along with Barry O’Rorke will start in the Leinster IHC semi-final against Kilkenny at Nowlan Park on Wednesday night 24th June 2009 (7.30).  Another Crokes player, Conor Clinton, is named as a substitute.

The monkey is off the back!  Dublin’s 0-18 to 1-13 victory over Wexford in the Leinster Hurling Championship semi final on Sunday 21st June 2009 at Nowlan Park saw the county through to the Leinster final for the first time since 1991.

Arnotts have informed the Dublin GAA Board that they will not be continuing with the sponsorship of our inter-county teams with effect from 1st November 2009. We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Arnotts, a relationship that we believe has been mutually beneficial to both parties.

The week got off to a good start when on Tuesday 9th June 2009 the under 14’s went across town to Johnstown Park and defeated Na Fianna by 2-13 to 2-5.

On the representative front, Niall Corcoran filled the number 2 shirt for Dublin in their Leinster Senior Hurling Championship quarter final joust with Antrim at Crokes Park on Sunday 7th June 2009.  A 2-16 to 0-12 win put Dublin through to a semi-final date with Wexford, on Sunday 21st June 2009
