Camogie Trip to Dicksboro 22nd March 2015

Body
On Sunday the 22nd of March two Kilmacud Crokes Camogie teams of U11s girls travelled to Kilkenny to play Dicksboro. The girls enjoyed glorious sunshine as they played with great conviction against a mixed under 12s and under 10s Kilkenny side.
Both teams played well and were only narrowly defeated in one of the matches.
It was our first outing on grass after winter training in Benildus and it was a good learning experience for the girls as the Camogie season gets into full gear. Both on and off the pitch the girls were exemplary in their behaviour and a great days fun and camogie was had by all.
Special thanks to Roddy for organising with Dicksboro and for the lovely tea, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream that were provided with in the clubhouse after.
Finally, thanks to Maura & Pat and all the mentors and parents who travelled and provided lifts for the girls.
