Congratulations to Sarah Greene and Ellen Curran who both played on the victorious Hermes Hockey team last weekend in the 'EY All Ireland Club Final' against Pegasus in Belfast. Sarah was named as The Irish Times / Irish Sports Council ‘Sportswoman of the Month’ in March 2014 following UCD’s epic run in the Irish Hockey League, Irish Senior Cup and Leinster women’s division one treble. Sarah also captained UCD’s Hockey team. Ellen currently plays on the Kilmacud Crokes minor football team in the forwards. Hermes are now Ireland’s number one representative in Europe in the 2016/17 season with Pegasus taking the number two spot.
