Mikey Sheehy - Infamous Goal for Kerry against Dublin in the 1978 All Ireland Final

In the 1978 All Ireland Final between Kerry and Dublin, Mikey Sheehy of Kerry scored what has possibly become GAA’s most famous goal.

As part of the Austin Stacks 2017 Centenary Celebration the club got Mikey and Ger Power to meet and recreate the goal with Paddy Cullen the Dublin goalkeeper and Kilmacud Crokes Robbie Kelleher the Dublin left corner back on the day.
