Mental Health Awareness and Player Welfare

The subject of mental health awareness has been very topical in the news / media recently.  As one of the largest GAA sporting clubs in the country, Kilmacud Crokes is embarking on developing a strategy and approach to dealing with this aspect of player welfare in the club.  We would hope over time through education, training, and policy development to embed an awareness and ability to deal with this topic as an integrated part of club culture, much like we already do with other aspects of player development.  In this regard, the Executive of the club has chartered a small working group to develop this strategy.

This working group would like to invite any members who have an interest in this area to attend a discussion evening on Wednesday Feb 4th in Room 4 at 8:30pm. We are looking for people who may already have a professional involvement in this area or members who just would like to contribute and be part of this strategy development to come along and take part.

If interested, please confirm your attendance to the e-mail below or text via mobile by Feb 1st. If you would like further info ahead of the evening, please contact the Club PRO Ronnie Murray on 0872317255 or e-mail RMRAMURRAY@GMAIL.COM
