"When I heard that Fiona was organising the PowerYoga4Sports classes in Glenalbyn, I joined the class with no experience of Yoga but an open mind to see what I had been missing. Based on my experience to-date, I have no hesitation in recommending Fiona's class. Overall, my flexibility, balance, core strength and general well-being have improved.

From the start, I enjoyed the challenge of the various poses, the 'do it to the level of your own ability' approach and the relaxed atmosphere. While a lot of the Yoga poses were more challenging than I had expected, the fact that everyone does them within their own physical limits means that anyone can participate fully in the class. Fiona introduces newcomers to the basics of Yoga, guides everyone through the various poses, and points out quietly and discreetly any corrections needed. "I started Fiona's PowerYoga4Sports last year and find it brilliant. 

As an ex- player on the wrong side of 55, with a little bit of a passion for cycling, it has definitely increased my flexibility and core strength. 

The class is suitable for all ages, whether you're still playing or have been sitting on the couch for the last 10 years.

Fiona advises "It's not a competition, just do what you can".

Last year over half the class was made up of men and with the exception of the odd groan everyone really enjoyed it!!"
