Minor A v Ballymun 

A very disappointing performance from our minors saw us lose on a scoreline of 1-9 to 2-3. Despite the poor performance it took 2 great saves late in the game from the Ballymun keeper to prevent us from at least getting a draw.

Playing into a slight breeze we made a lacklustre start, some very promising moves started by Ian Flatley, Niall Brady and Nathan Byrne ended with a poor final ball. Our only score of the first half was a goal from Daragh Jones, who responded quickest to a breaking ball. Ballymun had a player sent off in the fifteenth minute but still led by 0-5 to 1-0 at halftime.
The second half  was largely a repetition of the first and despite the best efforts of Niall O'Leary the concession of an early goal left us trailing by 6pts. We finally got our first point of the match in the 38th minute. A great goal late in the game from Matt Barry closed the gap to 3 points but the Ballymun keeper ensured that was as close as it got.
