Making Hurling while the Sun Shines

 Hurling happening on all fronts and in fine conditions too ... 

These are the days that in winter teams train for and dream about - Long evenings and prime pitches to play on. The U14As, U14Bs, U12s made the most of the longest day in their travels to Thurles, Wexford and Waterford.

On the domestic front Championship round robin continues - Junior Cs host Sylvesters Tue evening ;On Wed both Senior Bs and Juniors A are away to Naomh Barrog and Scoil Ui Chonaill
respectively. Thursday sees the Jun Fs also away to Raheny. 

Hot on the heels of Championship are the next round of League matches Jun As & Jun Cs away to St Brendans and Liffey Gaels on Friday. Sat sees Senior A's host Lucan in Pairc deBurca, Senior B's away to St Brigids.On Sunday Jun Fs trek northside again to play Whitehall Colmcille.

This all happens against the backdrop of Dublin playing Leinster Minor & Senior Final  (vs KK) in Croke Park on Sun 6th July and Leinster U21 Final versus Wexford in Parnell Park on Wed 9th July. Best Wishes to all our Kilmacud Crokes players on all 3 panels - Minor, U21 & Senior. 

So for Aficionados theres a lot happening and a lot to see - and the respective teams appreciate your support. Coupled with the county representation and summer holidays theres a good deal of juggling around with our 5 Adult teams. It also offers an opportunity for some of our younger lads to play 'up' and indeed some 'oul' lads to make (just one more) swansong or cameo appearance ... as they 'rage, rage against the dying of the light'
