Mizen to Malin Cycle 2016 (M2M)

The launch of Nissan M2M 2016 was held in the club last Friday night, with a great turn out of cyclists and club members. A great evening was had by all.
Paul Gallagher introduced Kevin Foley who spoke about our new development plans, then Jeanne Mc Gann of Nissan Ireland spoke about how delighted that Nissan were to be involved in the third M2M cycle. Professor Arnie Hill of BCI (Breast Cancer Ireland) spoke about the research and work done in combating breast cancer and that the monies raised from the M2M cycle would be put to great use in BCI. The 2012 & 2014 events were a tremendous success both from a fundraising & a social perspective. The target for the 2016 M2M is to raise €100,000.

On June 1st this year, we anticipate that a group of over 50 cyclists will embark on the M2M Cycle to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland (BCI) and Kilmacud Glenalbyn Sports Club Ltd.

All support for the cyclists is very welcome.

If you would like to promote your company logo on the custom M2M jersey, or sponsor the cycle in any way, please contact Gerry Greene, Liam O’ Carroll, Frank Rutledge, Hugh Campbell or any of the cyclists.

A special thanks to Mick Kinsella of the Village Cafe for the food and donating a hamper which was raffled & raised approx. €500 for the cycle.
