Crokes battle to impressive victory over Raheny

Crokes started the match with 14 players but two early goals put them in a commanding position. They went on to lead 3-07 to 0-09 at half time   Raheny  put up a strong fight right up to the final whistle, but were compromised by having to field two teams simultaeously, as they played a relegation football decider on the adjacent pitch. They won the football but their hurling team were convincingly beaten by a stronger Crokes  team;  4-15 to 0-12.
