This is a high profile, exciting competition, with 48 adult teams competing invited from all over Ireland, the UK and the United States.

The tournament takes place in three different locations in the Stillorgan area, attracting a large number of players and spectators. The competition is acknowledged as being one of the most exciting and important events in the Camogie calendar.

Teams are divided into groups of four and play three matches before the playoff stages commence. Matches begin at 10.30 am and the finals are usually at around 5.30 to 6 pm.

A Puc Fada Competition also takes place in Glenalbyn at approximately 3 pm and one player from each team entered is entitled to be nominated. A Wall Ball Competition has also been introduced, and is proving to be very popular. Any female player/coach/spectator can enter this competition.

CAN YOU HELP OUT ON SATURDAY IN SILVERPARK?

The first matches will start at 10.15am, and matches will continue into the afternoon.

We need available adult hurlers and mentors to go up to Silverpark tomorrow to give a hand.

If you only have an hour or two that is fine. Head up from 09.30 on for a while and make yourselves known to Mick Noctor.

If everyone does a bit then it will be fine. We literally only need a couple of hours.
