Feile Update

A successful day one of the Dublin Everbuild Ladies Football Feile for Kilmacud Crokes today. Drawn in a tough group with Temnplogue Synge Street, St Brigids and Balyboden St Enda's, Kilmacud started well with a well controlled win over Templogue Synge Street. Next up old rivals St Brigids. Despite a few goal mouth scares, Kilmacud emerged winners setting up a crunch final game with Balyboden to decide the winners of Group 1. Following a slow start Kilmacud found themselves a goal down at half time. The girls dug deep during the second half and showed great character and resolve to emerge as winners at the final whistle.

Match results today were as follows:

KC 3-5     Templeogue Synge St 0-1

KC 2-5     St Brigids 0-3

KC 3-4     Ballyboden 2-3

So a sucessful and enjoyable day for all. Let's look forward to the semi-final tomorrow morning @ 11 up in St Olaf's.
