The fourteenth Chill-Insurance Kilmacud Crokes All Ireland U14 Ladies Football 7s began on Saturday as 32 teams arrived from all around the country, from Donegal to Kerry, and Dublin to Mayo and further afield.
Pitchside last tuesday night in Glenalbyn was a busy night as we launched the 14th All Ireland U14 Ladies Football Sevens. We were delighted to welcome our sponsors of the event, Chill Insurance, whose support is very much appreciated.
On Saturday 9th September, the Kilmacud Crokes girls U8 & U10 competed in a blitz in Passage West. There were over 100 teams from all over the country taking part with Kilmacud Crokes strongly represented in both age groups.
Congratulations to our Dublin Ladies who beat the Kerry Ladies in the semi finals of this year’s championship. Kerry weren't having a good weekend and our Ladies put paid to any hopes they had with a win of 5-10 to 11 points. Our captain Síneád Aherne alone scored 2-7.
Best of Luck to the Dubin Ladies in TG4 All Ire Q_final today V Waterford. Well done to Lauren, Molly and Aoife who are the Crokes players involved.
Parc De Burca in Glenalbyn will be closed for annual maintenance and repair ahead of the 7's tournaments in September. It will be available for the Gerry Collins tournament on Saturday August 12th. Please adhere to the closure signage and notices and stay off the pitch at all other times
