Kilmacud WEEE Mini All-Irelands 2013

The Mini All-Irelands 2013 once again saw a growth in the number of girls participating with over 240 Ladies Footballers and 200 Camogie Players. We were very proud to welcome WEEE Ireland our new Sponsors , their message of sustainability and recycling is particularly appropriate for the age-groups at this evient.

The  WEEE team  arrived on Friday to Jon in the Fun and festivities.  The sunshine was an added bonus to what is becoming a wonderful tradition for all the children in the Club. Well done to all our volunteers we could not have done it without you - Pitch Co-ordinators, clean-up , car-park, barbeque we had no shortage of helpers and a heartfelt thanks to everyone. A huge thank you to all the younger members of our club who put themselves forward for managers and mentors, In Paraics own words "they would have put some of our senior management to shame".  To the young referees who gave up their evenings to come down and run the games for the girls, again your time was very much appreciated.

Finally a massive thank you to Paraic and Niall and their team for all their hard work and professionalism.   The "Minis" has become the social highlight in the U12 calendar in the club as well as for some very proud parents!  For a flavour of the week and the added excitement WEEE Ireland brought to the event with their peep board and fun activites  go to http://www.recyclefree.ie/events.html.  Why not help your child to look up the pics or tell their teachers to help them.   They can also be view at the main website at http://www.recyclefree.ie in Events.
