U14 Ladies Football Sevens Rules

1. A panel of ten players must be registered with the organising committee upon arrival at the check-in point. Teams may not select outside this panel.

2. The complete panel may be used for any particular game. Substitutions can be made as often as wished, but only at a stoppage in play, and only from the centre point of the sidelines and not from the end lines.  A player coming on will hand a baton to the player coming off.

3. For all games, including the quarter finals and semi finals, each half shall be 10 minutes duration. The finals shall be 15 minutes each half. The half-time interval in each game will be three minutes. 

4. Should there be any late withdrawals, group teams and times may be altered.

5. Teams taking the field late may forfeit the match.

6. The top two teams in each group shall go forward to the Cup 4th round. The 3rd and 4th team in each group shall go forward to the Plate 4th round.

7. The position of each team in their group shall be based on two points for a win and one for a draw. Where there is a tie for positions in a group, scoring differences will apply. If teams are still tied, as a tie breaker, whichever team has scored the most amount of points in their group encounter shall go through. 

8. If a colour clash occurs, one side on the toss of a coin shall wear alternative colour.

9. In the event of a draw in the 4th round, quarter finals or semi-finals, the winner shall be determined by 3 shots for points by different players from the 20m line. Should the teams be still tied, taking of points will continue under the sudden death procedure by using the remaining members of the panel.

10. In the event of a draw in the finals, 5 minutes each way extra time shall be played. In the event of a draw after this extra time, the winner will be decided by the sudden death procedure, with the first score winning.

11. If a player requires treatment she should be removed from field of play to allow play to continue.  All other normal Ladies Gaelic Football Association rules shall apply.  Note Sin Bin Rule 402 for games of less than 30 minutes shall be 5 Minutes. 

12. Any outstanding points not covered directly by these rules will be subject to the ruling of the organising committee, whose decision on all matters shall be final and binding on all participating teams.

13. Players are to be properly attired i.e. jersey, shorts, socks and boots.  Undergarments/compression shorts shall not exceed the length of the shorts and be of the same colour as the outer garments. Rule 414 Official Guide.
