John Shovlin is taking park in a charity event on Thursday 19th for the Irish Cancer Society.
He and a number of his work colleges will stock and run the Kimmage Store at 47 Sundrive Road for the day and hope to boost their profits for one day.

I have been involved in about a dozen games between Dublin and Offaly as a manager and have watched at least as many more encounters, but I have never seen such a fiasco of a game as the one we had to endure in Croke Park yesterday.

IT was hard not to admire the no-nonsense approach of Mark Vaughan to his free-taking duties for Dublin last weekend. There has been a lot said about Dublin's failures in this area over the last few years, and their inability to unearth a new Kieran Duff, Barney Rock or Charlie Redmond.
