Camogie All Ireland 7s

The Baker Tilly All-Ireland Camogie 7s competition is a fixture on the national camogie calendar, being held on the Saturday of the All Ireland Camogie weekend, the day before the All-Ireland Camogie Finals in Croke Park.

We make use of pitches around the Stillorgan area for the morning group stages with all of the latter stages of the competition moving back to the Glenalbyn clubhouse. Entries have been growing over the 46+ years that the competition has been running and we now regularly feature over 50 teams from around the country and beyond.

Invitations are sent in July with the closing date being the 3rd week in August.

The competition is divided into 3 grades; the Prionsais Ó Cronain Cup, the Sean Flynn Shield and a Plate competition. Allocation of club entries into the various grades is at the organising committee’s discretion and is dependent on a club's success within their own county.

Teams are divided into groups of four and play three matches before the playoff stages commence.  Starting at 10:30am, the group stage matches are held across three pitch venues in the Stillorgan area and from 2pm onwards, the final rounds take place at Páirc de Burca, Kilmacud Crokes’ home pitch.

We also hold an U12 camogie blitz and U12 Puc Fada as part of the day’s activities.

This is a family friendly event. Entry for supporters and the general public is free throughout the day. As well as the hundreds of participating players, this much-anticipated social event attracts nationwide and international attention and is one not to be missed.
