Camogie Nursery Starts Back 10th September

Body

Girls born in 2005 (aged 6), 2004, 2003 & 2002 start back in the nursery on Saturday, 10th September 2011 at 12pm.

The nursery will be held on the All Weather Pitch in Glenalbyn. New girls, aged 6 and over, are very welcome to join the nursery. Helmets and hurls are available for girls wishing to try out camogie for the first time. So please come along and give this great sport a go!

The U10 girls (born in 2001) have now graduated from the nursery and will be trainiing separately to the main nursery group. Starting Friday 9th September 2011, the U10's will train on the All Weather Pitch in Glenalbyn from 6pm to 7pm. Training will switch back to Saturday mornings at the end of September when all the 7's tournaments are over. These girls will be contacted directly by their team mentors.

The girls in the nursery are grouped by year of birth, with each group wearing a different coloured bib. As each group moves through the nursery the bib colour changes. Please note the bib colours from September 2011 as follows:

- Girls born in 2005, aged 6 years, wear PINK BIBS

- Girls born in 2004 wear GREEN BIBS

- Girls born in 2003 wear RED BIBS

- Girls born in 2002 wear BLUE BIBS.

During the first four Saturdays in September, the various sections will be running their Sevens tournaments. Please be EXTREMELY careful in the carpark areas with young children as traffic in the area will be very busy during this time. Parents are advised to avoid parking in the club carpark on these Saturdays in September.

The carpark in Glenalbyn will be closed to traffic on Saturday, 17th September 2011 during the Football Sevens Tournament.

Finally, we hope that all current and new girls will continue to enjoy playing camogie in the nursery at Kilmacud Crokes.
