Body

Camogie Registration will take place in Glenalbyn on Saturday 28th January & Thursday 2nd February 2012.

Please read on for further information.

1. Camogie Registration will take place in the Glenalbyn clubhouse on Saturday 28th January from 9:30a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Thursday 2nd February from 8:00p.m. to 9:30p.m.. Coiste (juvenile boys) and Ladies Football will also be taking registrations on these dates.

Parents who are unable to attend either day can complete the form and post it, together with the payment, to the registrar: Maria O'Hurley, 21 Priory Avenue, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin. before 2nd February 2012.

 2. An Information Sheet and a Registration Form can be obtained:

- by emailing me at mariaandsean@eircom.net or

- from the office at the Glenalbyn clubhouse from Tuesday to Friday from 10a.m. to 4pm..or

- from your daughter's mentor, who will also have a copy of the Information Sheet and Registration Form from the week beginning 16th January 2012. or

 - copies of these documents will be on this website later in the week.

The Information Sheet sets out detailed information regarding camogie registration, including the 2012 Schedule of Camogie Rates. A separate Registration Form must be completed in full for each child and returned with payment on either of the above registration dates.

We appreciate that the current economic circumstances are very difficult for families. The Kilmacud Crokes camogie rates have not been increased since 2009 and, in some cases, are lower than the 2009 rates.

A motion proposed by the camogie section to extend the period of payment of the development levy by one year was passed at the 2011 Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club AGM. This results in a lower amount being due in respect of the development levy in 2012.

3. Code of Conduct: You will also receive a copy of the Camogie Association's Code of Conduct for players and parents. Both players and parents are asked to sign the Camogie Registration Form as part of their agreement to adhere to this Code of Conduct.

4. Your  co-operation in registering your daughter(s) on time by the 2nd February 2012 is very much appreciated. We would like to thank you for your ongoing support and wish you and your daughter(s) a very happy year of camogie in 2012.

Kind regards,

Maria O'Hurley
