Cyber Bullying – What Every Parent Needs to Know

Keynote Speaker: Lisa Hughes

The world of technology is ever changing and it is important that we as parents can understand some of that new technology landscape and are in a position where we can protect our children from some of the potential harm that may be in Cyber space. This talk will not only cover social media, it will cover mobile, video and general internet usage. It is intended as an introduction to equip parents with knowledge and new language.

Lisa Hughes is a Management Facilitator and Business Coach at High Noon Leadership & Business Coaching. For Kilmacud Crokes, she brings digital marketing expertise and commercial experience in telecoms and the internet - her background is in Eircom, O2 and The Digital Reach Group. She is also mum of three; Grace 13, Lizzy 10 and Sam 7, and so is right in the thick of the practicality of social networking/cyber bullying.

As part of our Feile Fundraising this year we are hosting a lecture on Cyber Bullying and Lisa Hughes has kindly agreed to give her time. This is a hugely important and topical subject. Lisa will speak for approx 90 minutes and there will be time for Q & A at the end.
