We are delighted to announce that we have a new sponsor for the All Ireland Camogie Sevens for the next three years.  Daintree Paper is Irelands best known paper shop, specialising in wedding stationery and all types of invitations.

The Sevens this year, will as usual take place in Glenalbyn, Silverpark and a third venue to cater for the 58 teams expected to take part.  Invitations have gone out to the clubs and we expect the entries to be back very quickly.

The competition is divided into 3 sections, The Prionsias O Cronain Cup, The Sean Flynn Shield and the new Plate competition.  Allocation into the various sections is dependent on a club's success or lack therof within their own county.  The relevant information to make that decision is gathered from the County secretaries.

Teams are divided into groups of four and play 3 matches before the playoff stages commence.  Matches commence at 10.30am and the finals are usually at around 5.30 or 6pm.

A Puc Fada Competition will also take place in Glenalbyn at approximately 3pm and one player from each team entered is entitled to be nominated.  Last year, we had a Wall Ball Competition for the first time and it proved very popular.  Any female player/coach/spectator can enter this competition.
