Unwanted Clothes/Textiles Collection

Bring all your unwanted textiles (clothes, bedding, towels, curtains, footwear) to Glenalbyn on 14th & 15th October to help raise funds for the Kilmacud Crokes Benevolent Fund and Kilmacud Crokes Camogie Section.

The Kilmacud Crokes Camogie Section will be holding a fundraising event on the weekend of 14th and 15th October 2011 in Glenalbyn. The funds raised will be divided equally between the Kilmacud Crokes Benevolent Fund ** and the Camogie Section in order to enable us to purchase much needed equipment.

Please put all your unwanted textiles (clothes, bedding, towels, curtains, footwear (pairs only please) etcc - IN ANY CONDITION) in plastic bags and bring along to the Boardroom, Glenalbyn House as follows:

- Friday 14th October 10am to 4pm

- Friday 14th October 5pm to 9pm

- Saturday 15th October 9am to 1pm.

The amount raised depends on the weight of all items donated - please do not overfill bags!

We are grateful for all donations, however small.

** The Kilmacud Crokes Benevolent Fund is a fund in the club for many years, which is used to support members of our club on those occasions when a degree of financial support is useful at a difficult moment in their lives. The fund is administered privately and confidentially by very senior and long-standing members of the club. It is a fund provided by members for members who need support at difficult periods.
