Kilmacud Crokes’ Clubhouse caters for a wide range of social, meeting, entertainment / activity events with numbers ranging from individuals to large groups.  Members, friends and community are all welcome and it is very important to us that everyone can access good facilities and enjoy services. Michael Kinsella has decided to step back from the management of Kilmacs Bar and focus on the Village Restaurant. As a result we now have an important vacancy for an experienced person to run the Club Bar (Kilmacs) and support Clubhouse activities. 

The ideal candidate will

  • Have practical work experience of operating a successful Bar e.g. maintain a well stocked bar, deliver quality beverages, provide excellent customer service, implement initiatives to attract new business

  • Have a minimum of 2 years hospitality experience

  • Be reliable, flexible and hard working

  • Have a proven track record of operating associated operating systems i.e. till, stock, diary management, objective monthly reporting

  • Have have stock control experience;maintaining supplies and ordering stock as required

  • Have experience of implementing staff rosters to fulfil Clubhouse commitments and recruiting/managing casual staff

  • Develop an excellent working relationship with Club Sections and actively liaise with them to establish means of working together to support their needs

  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude and work with team members to achieve Club and customer service standards

  • Be competent in Health & Safety and Food Safety principles and practices

  • Have 2 up to date references that can be verified

Salary   To be agreed based on experience

Hours  The Bar Operates Monday to Saturday evenings 6 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. and Sundays  from 9.30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; regular hours may vary to suit business needs.
