Death Notice Phyll Kernan (née McGrath) RIP

Body

It is with deepest sadness to report the death of Phyll Kernan on 28th December’22.

Phyll had previously been an active member in the club helping out at the original Christmas Fair and the Football 7’s. She was a very keen card player and knew her way around the 25’s card table.
Phyll was predeceased by her “infamous” husband Des who sadly passed away all to early at the age of 60 some 16 years ago. Des was an extremely popular club member and was well known for being in the thick of thinks from accurate umpiring at football matches to organising the Kilmacud Crokes Golf Society events.
Both Des and Phyll were regular visitors to the club every Friday night to meet with a close cohort of friends when a lot of problems of the club and indeed the world were sorted out.
Both Phyll and Des were very dedicated club members and will be sadly missed by their daughter Jenny and son Chris and indeed their many many friends.

May She Rest in Peace
