Our next talk will be in the Function Room, Glenalbyn, on Thursday 10 March at 8pm.  It will be given by Professor Brendan Kelly and is titled :
 

 ‘Hearing Voices: The History of Psychiatry in Ireland '

The talk will draw on Professor Kelly’s 2016 publication of the same name. The book is described as a “monumental work encompassing every psychiatric development from the Middle Ages to the present day, and examining the far-reaching social and political effects of Ireland’s troubled relationship with mental illness.”
