This is truly a unique opportunity for our players in Kilmacud Crokes and one not to be missed.

Venue:  University College Dublin

Dates & Times:  July 16th, 17th, 18th & 19th 11.30am – 1.30pm each day

Players Invited Boys: U11 (2006) – U15 (2004) year olds (limited to 60 players)

Players Invited Girls: U12 (2007) – U14 (2005) year olds (limited to 30 players)

Coaches:  Fergal Whitely, Oisin O’Rorke (Kilimacud Crokes & Dublin Senior Hurlers), Sorcha Meaghar, Sinead O’Donohue & Karen Murphy (Kilmacud Crokes Senior Camogie players)

Other guest coaches include: Chris Crummey (Dublin Senior Hurling Captain), Laura Twomey (Dublin Senior Camogie player), Walter Walsh (Kilkenny Senior Hurler) & Mags D’arcy (Wexford Senior Hurling Coach)

We are excited to announce our Kilmacud Crokes Hurling & Camogie School of Excellence which is proudly supported by UCD.  The School of Excellence will include a wide variety of activities which will provide our players with learning experiences in an environment of fun & enjoyment.  The emphasis of our camp will be on the acquisition and improvement of individual skills in a game based programme.  Players will also be able to avail of the knowledge provided by Coaches and Players who have played at the highest level.  This is truly a unique opportunity for our players in Kilmacud Crokes and one not to be missed!

This year we are delighted to have Camile Stillorgan on board as our official sponsor of our Hurling & Camogie School of Excellence.  Our thanks to John Greene & Joe Canning for supporting our venture.

Each player who attends the camp will receive a Kilmacud Crokes Training Top.

HOW TO APPLY:

Complete the attached application form ucd_school_of_excellence_application_form_2019_1.pdf and return it along with the entry fee in an envelope marked with the players’ name and “Hurling / Camogie School of Excellence” to Niall Corcoran. 

In order to ensure quality of this venture we are limiting the number of places on the camp to 90.  The camp is open to members of Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club only. 

The closing date for applications for the School of Excellence is Friday July 12th.
