After an impressive unbeaten run winning the Minor A Division 1 league followed by topping their championship group, the Minor A footballers suffered a heart breaking 1 pt defeat to Ballyboden last Sunday in Silverpark.  Ballyboden will go on to meet Whitehall in the Minor A final. We wish both of our close rivals well in the final.  It was a case of a bad day at the office where a number of missed chances were a major contribution to Crokes not getting a hold of the game and closing it out. Whilst there will be lessons learned from the defeat which will serve the group well as they move into adult football, the management and squad can be justifiably proud of their whole season and the progression they have made as individuals and a team since coming together last January.   Many thanks to the football committee and the parent group for their support through-out the year. A special word of thanks to Fergal Keys ( Manager) and his fellow selectors - Ciaran McCormack,  Conor Noone, Ruairi O' Donnell and Liam Og O'hEineachain for all their unselfish commitment and professionalism they gave in support of the team through the year.
