Play The Whistle 2016 - Game On

Play The Whistle time is finally here folks, and the competition kicked off with the Masters last weekend. PTW will run right through to July - a total of 13 key sporting events. There were 1043 entries in total and the gallery below shows our 'data inputters' hard at work cross checking and verifying the data. After each event, the leaderboard table will be updated and posted on the football section web site with all the results, where you can check and monitor your own progress.

Well done to all who correctly predicted that ‘Other’ would win the Masters - all 127 of you are currently tied in 1st place. 223 of you who chose Spieth must have wished he could have avoided Amen Corner on Sunday evening.

The next PTW event will be on May 2nd when ‘Snooker World Championship' takes centre stage. Check back on May 3rd when the new leaderboard will be posted.
