CROKES PROGRESS IN SFC (10th MAY)

Updated 14/5

Big wins for Crokes, Ballymun, Brigids, Judes and a few others in last week's opening round of the Dublin Senior Championship.  For Crokes it was a case of first time lucky wearing the new club sponsor Weee Ireland jerseys - see team pic below.  It was also a time when youth was given a fling - many new faces on view.  In the end we won on a scoreline of 5-16 to 2-5.  The next round is not expected for several weeks - will depend on Dublin's progress in the championship.  Hear what Hugh Kenny made of the match by clicking on this link (or on the team photo)

The Dublin Senior Football Championship is in full swing this week and there has already been a high profile casualty with the defeat of Oliver Plunketts by our neighbours, St. Johns Ballinteer.  Our Crokes boys will be on their guard when they tackle St. Marys (Saggart) in their opener this evening.  The game is fixed for 7pm in O'Toole Park.  Please make the effort to be there and support the team.  We wish Hugh Kenny and all the lads the best of luck!
