FOOTBALLERS DOMINATE HONOURS IN BRADLEY CUP

Kilmacud Crokes Golf Society staged its annual Bradley Cup competition in Powerscourt yesterday.  The event was played on a glorious day in one of Ireland’s most picturesque settings, quite a contrast from the original fixture in February which fell foul of the freezing weather!  Club coach Paraic McDonald claimed top prize despite facing hot competition, from footballing colleagues including Conor Noone, Pauric McMenamin, Niall Clancy, Ian Byrne and Mick Leahy.  Society Chairman, Pauric Mac, deputising for Myles Clancy presented the prizes before a quick exodus to Parnell Park followed.  There, a great Kilmacud day ended with the superb Senior team win against Parnells in the first round of the Dublin SFC.
