Inters to do it again in Championship semi

Well done to the Senior-2 squad, under recently appointed management team Peter Ward, Robbie Leahy and Robert Behan, on a superb team performance v St Brigids last night!  The match finished all square after a great tussle in which there was seldom more than a score or two between the teams - defeat would have been cruel to either.  On a breezy, icy cold night, there was plenty of good football by two fit teams with no quarter asked or given.  The game, whilst competitive throughout, was played in a very good spirit and was helped in no small manner by a referee that allowed the game to flow - what a rarity these days.  Templeogue Synge Street, managed by Anton O'Toole, await the winners in the final.

The replay is fixed for Balgriffin at 11am on Sunday next (5th)

It's going to be a heck of a busy Sunday for the club on the nortside with the Crokes/UCD mouth-watering quarter-final to follow at 4pm.  Best wishes to our 2 teams. Hope to see all of our supporters out in force at both venues!
