KILMACUD CROKES CORPORATE GOLF DAY - POWERSCOURT

Corporate Golf Day - Powerscourt 

Kilmacud Crokes Football section hosted a very successful Corporate Golf Fundraising event in Powerscourt Golf Club on Friday 17th July 2015. 

It was a most enjoyable day, and the feedback on the whole event was most encouraging which bodes well to now make this an annual fund raising event going forward. A special thanks must go to all the teams and individual sponsors who contributed to this valuable fund raising event. The Football Committee would also like to thank the organising committee consisting of Michael Durcan, Gerry Greene, Ruairi Kelleher and John Flaherty. They were of course ably assisted by Vinny Patterson who was Field Marshall on the day and drove his special buggy with style and great aplomb! A special thanks also to Sattal and in particular Paul Gallagher for assisting with Sponsor signage. 

The highlights from the day include the following:

-18 Teams played on the East Course

-Fantastic prizes with 9 teams winning individual prizes and also 'Nearest the Pin' and 'Longest Drive ' prizes also. 

The main winners were the following:

1. Dundrum Town Centre - Captain Mickey Greene, and team members Kevin Foley, Frank Rutledge and Danny Ryan.

2. PWC - Captain - Declan Doyle

3. Medfit - Captain - John  Murphy
