Mick Walsh (Wexford) RIP - a true Crokes legend!

The late, great Mick Walsh sadly passed away on 3rd July last.  He was a tremendous Kilmacud Crokes clubman and served various sections of the club equally well in his many roles over the years.  Mick made a huge and lasting impression on the club and its members!  This was clearly evident from the throngs that attended his funeral and from the many stories, then and since, about his approach to life, sporting and otherwise.  It is generally acknowledged that the tribute to Mick, by Bernard McAvinue in the Macalla newsletter of October 1994, sums the man and his legacy up perfectly.
