MINOR Bs CLAIM TITLE WHILE MINOR As REACH SEMI-FINAL!

Despite the heavy overnight rain which threatened to spoil things, yesterday turned out to be a really good day for the young men of Kilmacud Crokes! Our Minor "B" team, managed by John Shovlin, beat Na Fianna in the Dublin "D" Championship final, played in O'Toole Park. We conceded 2 early goals and were 8 pts down at one stage! The final score was 2-7 to 2-6. See Match Report here. Congrats boys!! A little earlier, our "A" team, managed by Pat Duggan, advanced to the semi-final of the "A" championship following a great replay tussle with Castleknock. The quality of the football on view in this game, played in Silverpark, was of the highest order - both teams deserve great credit. The Crokes lads just about edged it in the end on a scoreline of 2-9 to 2-5.
