MYLES CLANCY RIP

News of the death of proud Clare man and Kilmacud Crokes club stalwart, Myles Clancy, on Saturday night was received with great sadness by all in the club and in GAA circles generally. Myles is a Crokes legend and will be sadly missed. Our sympathies go to his wife, Yvonne, daughters Hilary and Jean and sons Declan and Niall.

Details of his funeral are as follows:
Reposing at home on Monday from 3-8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, 16th October, at 11.15am in the Church of St. Laurence OToole, Kilmacud, followed by Cremation in Mt. Jerome Crematorium, Harolds Cross.

We are glad to have this poignant but happy memory of Myles from the night of our All Ireland club title win on St. Patricks Day, 2009 - click on the image below. He reckoned he could die happy at that stage and Im sure he has now found his eternal reward. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dí­lis!
