Brendan Dunleavy RIP

It is with sadness that we report the sudden passing of Brendan Dunleavy.

Brendan was a brother of the late John Dunleavy, former Chairman of both the Kilmacud Crokes Hurling Committee and Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club, and father of Kevin, a Dublin SHC winner with the club in 1985. He was also uncle to Dara, a long-time member and supporter of the club.

The death has occurred of Timothy Brendan DUNLEAVY - Paulstown, Kilkenny / Dartry, Dublin.

Suddenly in his 86th year. Much loved husband of the late Teresa (nee Maher) Father to Leo, John, Kevin and Denise. Adored Opah to Timothy, Robin, Daniel, Aislinn, Andrew and Sinead, brother to John (deceased), Des, Pat (deceased) and Denis. Mourned by all his family and friends especially daughters-in-law Yvonne, Grace, Laura and son-in-law David.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, on Wednesday, 17th June, from 4pm to 7pm with removal to the Church of the Assumption, Paulstown arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 18th June, at 11am followed by burial in the new cemetery in Paulstown.
