Kilmacud Crokes have lined up an exciting festival of hurling for the forthcoming Bank Holiday Monday.

Crokes are introducing eight of the best club teams from around the country at U-15 level for a one-day tournament which will be run off in the club’s grounds at Glenalbyn and Silverpark and Deer Park in Mt Merrion. It is hoped that the competition will be converted into an annual event.

Clubs taking part include Emeralds (Kilkenny), Nenagh Eire Og (Tipperary), Rapparrees (Wexford), Cuala (Dublin), Naomh Eanna (Wexford), Ballygunner (Waterford), Whitehall Colmcille (Dublin) as well as Crokes home grown U-15s.

The competition will be a knock-out with first and second round matches in the morning and Cup and Shield finals in the afternoon.

If you want a day of first class entertainment and excitement come along to the Crokes on Monday and support the lads.

The competition starts at 10:30 at all three venues with finals scheduled for 2.30 (Plate) and 3.30 (Cup) in Glenalbyn.
