The Dublin South U15's in challenge action v Laois

Body

A very warm O’Toole Park was the venue where the Kilmacud Crokes Under 15 squad supplied seven of the 17 strong Dublin South squad who faced Laois in a challenge match in O'Toole Park. Despite being missing a number of players due to injury and holidays, it was a useful run out for the Dubs, the whole panel got at least one full half, the final score was 7-20 to 1-09 in favour of the Dubs.  The Dublin backs were always in control, with Matthew Kinsella (wingback), Bill O’Carroll (center back & captain) and Alan Carr (wingback) giving masterful displays.  Up front, Killian Doherty (wing forward), Eoin Dalton (corner forward) and Naomhan Reardon (full forward) all contributed to the Dublin tally, with Naomhan being the top scorer on the day with a personal tally of 3 - 04.  Jack Doughan came on at half time at corner back and had his man in his pocket until he was moved up to corner forward, where he played very well, making several telling passes which led to Dublin scores.

The next outing will be against Wexford, who should provide as much stiffer challenge.  Well done to the Crokes lads, keep up the good work.
