Dublin South Under 15 Hurlers Perform Well in Leinster Blitz
Following lunch, Carlow were first up and in a dour game, the South came away winners with a three goal and six point to three point margin. Kilkenny North had already beaten Carlow in the first game of this group. With a stiff wind, Kilkenny started the better and lead by six points at half time, but a great second half performance saw the South Dubs claw it back to two points at one stage before finally losing by three points, the final score one goal and ten points to Kilkenny North and one goal and seven points to Dublin South. The day finished with dinner in Toughers & the short bus trip back to the Spawell.
Crokes were well represented in the travelling party of 25 by Barry Mulligan (goal keeper), Jack Kelly (fullback), Jack Doughan (corner back), Paul Collins (wing back), Bill O’Carroll (center back), Darren McVeigh (mid field), Eddie O’Byrne (mid field), Killian Doherty (center forward), Eoin Dalton (corner forward), Matthew Kinsella (full forward) and Seanie McGrath (corner forward). Naomhan and Jamie were both away on holidays. Not all the lads started each game, but when on the pitch, did themselves, the club and the county proud.
