Dublin U21 hurlers ready for Kildare opener

Crokes have four representatives on the Dublin under 21 hurling panel for tonight's (Tuesday 26th may 2009) Bord Gais Leinster U21 HC quarter-final against Kildare in Clane (7.30). They are Rory O’Carroll, Ronan Walsh, Conor Clinton and barry O’Rorke.

In addition four Dublin under-21 hurlers who enjoyed senior action during this year's NHL Division 1 have been named in the starting 15. Corner-back Oisin Gough, team captain and midfielder Simon Lambert, wing-forward Liam Rushe and full-forward David Treacy all played for Anthony Daly''''s senior hurlers in their campaign which saw them finish in fourth position behind Kilkenny, Tipperary and Galway. The team is backboned by members of the Leinster minor winning team of 2007 with Finn McGarry, Gough, Eanna Walsh, Paul Schutte, current senior football panellist Rory OCarroll, Darren Whelan, Emmet McCabe and David Treacy graduating for the team of two summers ago.
