Beacon Hospital All-Ireland Hurling 7s

The 47th Beacon Hospital All-Ireland Hurling 7s takes place on Saturday 17th August.

Games start from 10am in Glenalbyn, Silverpark, UCD and St. Olafs.

There are 3 hurling competitions and an additional U12 hurling festival.

The All-Ireland Hurling 7s sponsored by Beacon Hospital will be a great family event, with free entry for all.

There will be face painters, balloon makers and a big Puc Fada competition (U8-U11) and a Wall Ball Competition (U10-U11) taking place in Glenalbyn, with some great prizes to be won.

You can also win a brand new Kilmacud Crokes Heritage jersey by tweeting a picture from the Hurling 7s, include #beaconhospital7s and tag @HurlingSevens or upload a picture from the Hurling 7s to your Instagram story, include #beaconhospital7s and tag @hurling7s.

Winner will be announced just before the Senior Cup Final on Saturday.

A raffle will be take place to win 2 tickets between Tipperary and Kilkenny in the All-Ireland Final.

In Leinster Dublin defeated Offaly and received a walk over against Kilkenny in the Leinster Final when the latter were disqualified for an illegal registration.  Dublin lost the All-Ireland Final after a replay to Cork.  Four Crokes players Francis Whelan, Kevin O’Toole, Luke Delaney and D O’Nei

In ideal weather conditions KC 2 finally overcame Scoil Ui Chonaill in a pulsating semi-final and go on to meet St Brigids in the final. This game, played in Deerpark on Wednesday evening, had everything for the Hurling purest; passion, skill and lorry loads of commitment.
