This was a great victory in somewhat trying circumstances, the game was tough and physical but the lads stuck by the game plan and we came out deserving winners. The game was played at championship intensity with both teams acutely aware that loosing meant championship exit.
Hard to understand how Crokes lost. Played some great hurling. Interesting stat is that Whitehall only scored 3 times from play (their 3 goals) while we scored 12 times from play, but still lost. Some great performances. Sean and Naomhán lethal in full forward line when they got the ball.
