Kilmacud Crokes 0-13 –v- Round Towers 1-11

Crokes put up a spirited performance in this AHL3 league clash at Clondalkin on Wednesday evening, 7th July 2010, and might have won had some refereeing decisions gone a different way in the closing stages.  Nevertheless the lads can be very proud of their efforts.  Short eight regulars, the juniors and minors answered the call and played excellenty.  It is not surprising they are topping their league group.  It was 0-9 to 1-6 at half time.  The second half was exciting and hard fought.  Crokes just could not get over the line.  Daibhi De Paor was once again to the fore and finished with a tally of 0-10 (7f).  Not far behind were Brian Hanamy, Damien Byrne, Jonathan Healy-Hayes, Alex Pilkington, John-Ross Hunt and Eoin Culligan who had a splendid game on his first outing of the year.  The scores came from D De Paor 0-10, A Pilkington 0-2, JR Hunt 0-1.
