The Junior A's put in an epic performance in winning the AHL5 Top 4 playoff - securing promotion to AHL4

Wet and gale force conditions ruffled but ultimately did not unsettle a resolute and astute performance in Bray against Cuala, the Junior A champions.

The  south-westerly gale force wind was so big a factor that a 6 points to 0 lead at half-time seemed very precarious; There was concern that some missed scores might prove costly.

Two converted frees from Cuala at the start of the 2nd half threatened Crokes' ascendancy. However, intelligent distribution against the wind and this team's resolute character wore down an increasingly desperate Cuala effort. A rigorous defence and the ability to score 1-04 into the wind characterised a never-say-die performance. Well done Junior A's, team and management, you richly deserve promotion to AHL 4.
