Victory for Junior A's against strong St Finian's challenge

The Junior A's overturned a first half one point deficit - and a strong Finian's challenge - to win out in the end by four points

Despite trailing for most of the first half when our third team could just not get in to gear - the form eventually showed and Crokes pulled ahead with two fine goals scored by james Burke and Ruairi Geraghty. Finnans looked the better team for much of the game with some fine points over the shoulder. Conor Clinton and gavin steed showed some excellent scoring from every angle with Johnnie Maher taking care of the places balls. Once Crokes took the lead in the second half it was a hard fought resistance to maintain it and in the end it was a long range point by Clinton that applied the safety score to ensure the 4 point win.
