Body

The Junior A team got the new season off to a winning start on Sunday in the Doyle Cup. Playing in a sunny Silverpark against Raheny Crokes were quickly off the mark with points from Joe Walsh, Ken Kelly and Tom Clarke. Raheny came back at us, but points from Ken, Tom and Conor Caulfield left Crokes in front 8 points to 3 at half time.

Raheny pointed first in the second half but Mick Dalton scored a goal, following a fine delivery from Karl Russell, to stretch our lead. Raheny raided and Mikey Herlihy made a save that was an early contender for save of the season. Raheny tacked on a couple of points, which were matched by Crokes, before they scored a late goal, to leave the final score Crokes 1-11 Raheny 1-05.
