Minor A's lose to Brigids in Semi Final

Minors beaten in Championship semi final

Mild overcast morning in O'Toole Park, with little or no wind, for this Minor A Championship clash between Crokes and St. Brigids. Crokes scored an early goal and traded points with Brigids until Brigids raised the green flag towards the end of the first half. With the aid of another over Brigids went in at the short whistle 3 points up - 1-06 to 1-03.

Crokes upped their game in the second half and, although Brigids raised the first white flag of the half,  scored a further 7 points (to one more over by Brigids) before Brigids struck for goal once again. Crokes managed only one additional score after that, while Brigids pointed three more times, to run out winners in the end by 2-11 to 1-11.
