Crokes lose out by a single point

Following earlier heavy downpours in Dublin, there was a little concern that the match might be called off. Thankfully the rain abated and proceedings got underway in Parnell Park on time.

At the short whistle Oulart were three points ahead, thanks to a very harsh penalty decision just before the break.

Crokes showed great spirit in the second half and, despite the concession of further points early in the half, had drawn level within minutes of the final whistle. However, a late pointed free gave victory to the Wexford champions in the end.
