Other items for auction will include

  • Punchestown Race Package - naming rights and hospitality for 20 guests in a corporate box on the day of the Race. The publicity opportunities on the day will include your company signs on the Racecourse, in the Parade Ring and the Race will be shown on the Racing Channels, both in Ireland and across the U.K., and will be listed in all the print media
  • U2 Croke Park concert package
  • Weekend in Fota Island with golf

Everybody will be familiar with the new Hurling Arena in Glenalbyn.  This was built at a cost of €500,000 and is a huge addition to hurling in the club.  It has been entirely funded by the Hurling Section and we still have some way to go.

We have also significantly upgraded and expanded our hurling coaching and our investment enables us to foster and promote the game to over 500 children at all ages.  Last year as well as our senior hurlers reaching the county final, our under 14's won the Dublin Feile and competed well at the national finals while our other young teams traveled the length and breadth of Ireland, often returning with silverware, and always with a smile.

Our 2009 Punchestown offering is a real 'Recession Beater', at a reduced rate, and a better package than ever with:

·  New course-side location with private lawn overlooking last fence

·  Free Bus transfer to and from the event

·  Four course lunch served to your table with complementary wine

·  Race Cards for each guest and Professional tipsters to mark your card

There are three Grade 1 races including the feature race - the Kerrygold Champion Chase over 2 miles worth €200,000 which is expected to feature the very highly rated Cheltenham winner, Master Minded.

In 2008 we had a magnificent response, with over 1,000 people attending and we received incredibly positive feedback for what is now the social highlight of the year in the club.

We ask anyone in a position to do so to support our voluntary efforts and help us defray the financial burden.  This can be done in several ways such as asking your company to take a table (better corporate entertainment value won't be had this year), by booking a table or seats yourself or with friends/fellow parents, by sourcing donations or spot prizes. Booking forms can be downloaded by clicking HERE
